The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 15, 2026, issued a notification regarding the directions for Post-Result Facilities for Class XII Students 2025-26.
The following has been stated:-
•The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued detailed directions regarding post-result facilities for Class XII students after the 2026 board examination results.
•CBSE highlighted that the newly introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) system ensures greater transparency, accuracy, secrecy, and error-free digital evaluation of answer books.
•Students who are dissatisfied with their marks can first apply online for scanned copies of their evaluated answer books and later seek verification of issues or re-evaluation of specific answers.
•Only candidates who obtain scanned copies will be eligible for the next stage of verification or re-evaluation.
•The entire application and fee payment process will remain online, and even a decrease of one mark after re-evaluation will be applicable.
•CBSE clarified that revised marks, whether increased or decreased, will be final and binding, and fresh mark sheets will be issued wherever changes occur.
